Introducing NONFICTION New York
We’re excited to announce the opening of NONFICTION New York, our first store in the United States.
Located at 38 Orchard Street in the Lower East Side, a neighborhood whose vibrance and layered history mirror that of Seoul,
the store was conceived as a place of pause — a space to slow down, reset and reconnect.

Designed in collaboration with architecture and design studio Charlap Hyman & Herrero, the space reflects both the energy of the city and our approach to reflection and sensory experiences. Limewashed walls and glossy oxblood-tiled floors set the tone, while a tiled niche featuring a hand-painted black rose — a custom artwork by Pilar Almon — anchors the space. Geometric forms and warm, ambient lighting further shape an immersive environment that balances clarity and depth.

A curated mix of eras and materials defines the space—a circa-1770 Queen Anne candlestand sits beside a commissioned mahogany table by Doug McCollough, alongside lighting and furniture by longtime collaborator Minjae Kim. A painting by Chulhwa Kwon, set within an antique frame, complements nearby sculptural lotus-shaped pendant lights, creating a quiet, harmonious dialogue throughout.
Our New York store brings the full NONFICTION collection to the U.S. for the first time, centered around signature scents developed with renowned perfumers across fragrance, home, body and haircare. The store also features a New York–exclusive perfume tag scented with THE ROSE. We invite you to visit and experience the space, discover the collection, and explore exclusive items.
